Communicative Assistive Technology

The Communication Assistive Technology Credential recognises the specialist knowledge and training required to provide appropriate advice and recommendations related to the communication process and equipment needs for people with disabilities.

Speech Language Therapists and Occupational Therapists wishing to become a Credentialled Communication Assistive Technology Assessor will need to successfully complete requirements as outlined in the Competency Framework before making an application to Enable New Zealand.

EMS Assessors will need to complete the ATANZ Learning & Development Programme for Communication Assistive Technology.  Information about the programme is available at: www.atanz.org.nz  An on-line Learning Module is now available for Level 1 available at:
